MULTIPUBLISHING

Linator publishes information from a single database in three different ways.

THE PDA AND THE FUTURE
Publishing on the new handheld platforms is a lot easier using Linator. Read more about the advantages.

MULTIPLE VERSIONS
Several additional methods of presentation are planned.

Publishing as graphic version:
The pages are characterized by a neutral and easy-to-follow navigational structure, cross navigation, and the paths to documents at all levels are displayed. Visual profile design/customizing of the customer's profile to the system can be arranged in accordance with a separate agreement containing specifications.

Publishing as text
A web version in text, primarily for use by the blind and visually impaired. If necessary the user can enlarge the print. All unnecessary html formatting is removed, as a result of which the contents are suitable for use with a Braille display. Descriptions of image elements in the form of alt tag, long description tag and links to images are presented in the text version.

PDA publishing:
For personal digital assistants / mobile units. This version utilizes Linator's cross navigation which is customized for the navigation system of the unit. Page width is adapted to Pocket PC and Palm standards but with scope for variation. Click here for PDA versions. Our mobile addresses are http://palm.en.linator.com or http://pocketpc.en.linator.com

The Linux-based system mirrors the content allowing it to be presented in a variety of platforms.

The illustration also shows presentation methods planned for the future.
